Empowering Gen Z and Millennials, One Class at a time through social media learning and strategies as a Social Media Manager
At MasterClass, we aimed to reach working professionals, enthusiasts, ambitious individuals, and anyone with a passion for learning from world-renowned experts. Our social media strategy focused on young millennials and Gen Z by consistently creating engaging content that captured attention, aligned with current trends, and utilized real-time reactive strategies. We also tested our language and content through social media analytics to continually improve our approach.
Publishing/Community Management
For MasterClass, I published all content across Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and YouTube natively . I ensured all posts were error-free upon going live, implementing a quality assurance process to swiftly address and correct any issues. Additionally, I engaged with followers and interacted with other accounts to drive traffic to our page, all while maintaining Masterclass’s distinctive tone and persona.
Copywriting
I wrote all the in-caption copy and on-screen captions for the masterclass, ensuring consistency with its tone and mood. Additionally, I researched and understood each specific instructor's language style to effectively engage their followers.
Content Creation
One of the exciting projects I handled at Masterclass was developing reactive content to engage with trending topics and formats. My role involved identifying relevant trends and creating posts that resonated with these cultural moments, all while staying true to Masterclass’s unique persona. This approach allowed us to connect with our audience in real-time, bringing fresh, timely content that aligned with our brand values.
Analytic/Trend Reporting
With Masterclass, I analyzed key performance metrics to track progress toward our monthly goals and developed strategies to optimize our reach. I also crafted trend reports focused on cultural and social insights, alongside in-depth analyses of our instructors, to keep our content relevant and impactful.
Calender Management
Lastly, I managed the content calendar, where I organized, tracked, and adjusted our content to align with monthly objectives. My role was to strategically schedule posts around tentpole events, reactive content, and other priorities, ensuring a cohesive and timely content flow.
